This is a large lot of over eight-hundred (800) original stock certificates for the Penn Central Company. They all seem to have been issued in the early 1970s and cancelled. They are in three varieties: pink (100 shares), purple (more than 100 shares) and brown (less than 100 shares). They were printed by the Security-Columbian Banknote Company and have a vignette of mercury running with a train, airplane and truck as well as a cityscape behind him. Most are in generally clean condition, some may show a bit of wear here and there like a rusty staple hole, etc. These are unprocessed stocks, so many have transfer slips or related documents still attached, staples in them, etc. GUARANTEED ORIGINAL – NO REPRODUCTIONS.
