This is a very rare certificate, issued in 1920 to Junius “Judge” Adams. Mr Adams was in charge of operation of the Biltmore Estate after the death of George Vanderbilt. I have been told that in 1920 the family wanted to develop a residential town near the House. The town was named Biltmore Forest. Today Biltmore Forest is a beautiful town in Western North Carolina, situated between the Biltmore House and the City of Asheville. This share is especially unique due to being cancelled and reissued to Thomas Wadley Raoul, C. Beale, and the Biltmore Company on April 15th 1942. The item “Biltmore Estate Forest stock certificate Adams 1920″ is in sale since Monday, August 01, 2016.
