Authorized under the authority of the Farmers Bank of China Law on April 1, 1933, the bank was established to stimulate agricultural development by providing lines of credit to farmers and rural landowners. The Farmers Bank became one of the four major banks of the Republican period. Along with the Central Bank of China and the Bank of Communication, the Farmers Bank of China was allowed to issue banknotes until 1942. This loan was issued during the Post World War II period of hyperinflation in China as the Chinese Civil War was in progress. Shortly after this loan was issued, the Communist Party took power, with official recognition on October 1, 1949. The Bond have 5 coupon’s.
